I’m an online business owner specializing in providing educational information products direct to consumers.

In late 2007, I began producing a language education podcast called Learning Indonesian with the goal of using it as a springboard into doing new media educational production and development full time.  Learning Indonesian proved to be a successful project and allowed me to move on to doing what I love as my day job.

Prior to all of this, I spent over 12 years working at the intersection of technology and business. I’ve worn a lot of technical hats over the years, including iPhone developer, network security engineer, PERL & PHP programmer, web hosting network manager, small biz IT consultant, product development manager, and quite a few others.

I am currently the CTO and Principal Engineer for Memory Deck, LLC, a mobile educational software company based here in Boston.

Shaun: I thoroughly enjoyed your interview on Internet Business Matery’s podcast. I’ll definitely be checking out your niche podcast.

You came across as not only very knowledgable about internet marketing but passionate about helping others build their businesses without any pie in the sky BS like you hear from many of the ‘gurus’.

Unfortunately the word ‘guru’ now means ’someone who makes exagerrated claims about what they can do for people, implying that there isn’t a need for effort, persistence, and good planning plus smart execution’.
